Cardiac 2005 from Dec 11

DUBAI — The Dubai International Heart Conference and Exhibition, Dubai Cardiac 2005 will be held from December 11 to 13 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. More than 600 specialists in the field are expected to attend the event.

Qadhi Al Marooshid, Director-General of Department of Health and Services (Dohms), addressing a Press Conference here yesterday, stressed on the importance of such conferences. He announced the activities of the conference saying that they will enhance the medical services through monitoring of the latest international scientific achievements in the medical field.

The conference is being held under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of Dohms.

The conference was attended by Dr Najeeb Al Khaja (Dubai Hospital), Dr Yousif Ma'louf (Mayo Clinic) and Abdul Salam Al Madani, Director of Index.

Al Marooshid said that the positive role of scientific conferences would give a great chance for medical field workers to view the latest techniques in the medical field, and to benefit from the experiments and experience of others.
